Meet the Staff
Dr. Hazany is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs micrographic surgeon who is originally from Los Angeles, California. He graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Neuroscience from UCLA. After finishing his undergraduate degree, Dr. Hazany went on to graduate at the top of his class from the prestigious UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. During medical school, Dr. Hazany was the recipient of several highly sought after merit scholarships and awards from the Mayo Clinic and the National Institutes of Health. Following Medical school, Dr. Hazany completed a one-year surgery internship with a focus on plastic surgery at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Hazany continued to focus on medical dermatology and surgical dermatology as a resident at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he served as Chief Resident from 2013-2014.
Following dermatology residency, Dr. Hazany traveled to Houston to work at the Houston Methodist hospital where he completed his fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic surgery, cosmetic dermatology, and laser surgery with Dr. Leonard Goldberg, an internationally renowned dermatologic surgeon.
Dr. Hazany’s research interests have led to the publication of multiple scientific articles and book chapters in the fields of facial plastic surgery and dermatology. He is a two-time winner of the Cosmetic Surgery Forum best oral presentation.
Dr. Hazany is very well versed in the latest techniques in dermatologic and cosmetic surgery, he is a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Hazany believes in an individualized approach to each patient. He is frequently complimented for his outstanding surgical skills, careful consideration of care of patient needs, and gentle pain-free touch.
Michelle Bragasin R.N
Having received her Registered Nursing License, Michelle Bragasin delved into cosmetics and dermatology when she officially entered the field of professional nursing care. Over time, to increase her skills and nursing aptitude, she also joined the stroke unit for neurology in one of the local hospitals. Now, Michelle Bragasin R.N. is certified in the industry’s leading cosmetic procedures along with dermatologic testing and screening. She is an advocate for patient care and will place her patients’ safety and concerns first and foremost. She underlines making a customized skin care for each of her patients – stressing the importance of choosing the correct product, and procedure in every consultation.
