What Is Dysport?
Dysport is a cosmetic wrinkle treatment that improves dynamic lines and creases throughout your face, such as frown lines on the upper face. Like BOTOX®, Dysport is composed of a filtered strain of type A botulinum toxin to temporarily relax or freeze specific facial muscles. When these muscle groups are addressed, the common contractions that result in dynamic lines will be blocked, and the skin over the muscle will be softened. This allows you to frown, smile, and leave your face like that as long as you want without leading to dynamic wrinkles. It also provides rejuvenated outcomes that won't "freeze" your face. How Is Dysport Performed?
After your initial exam and consultation, your Dysport treatments will be administered in one of our private treatment rooms. An anesthetic cream is usually not necessary since Dysport is provided using a fine needle that creates minimal discomfort, but it can be applied upon request. Once the treatment area has been sterilized, several injections will be made along the eyebrow area, followed by an ice pack to diminish bruising and swelling. Following your procedure at Sandhu Dermatology & Med Spa, you can resume your usual tasks, although you should try to avoid taxing activities for at least one day.

This is a great dermatologist. Highly recommended. I had 2 moles removed by Dr. Sandhu, and he did a fantastic job, especially for both moles being on my head. I also received 2 separate courtesy calls from his office to check if the healing of them were going well. If I ever have a similar need I will definitely be going back to him.
